Ⅵ How the pad printers work

Pad printing machine is through the glue head to transfer the ink on the plate to the substrate to complete pad printing, the following is a detailed working principle:

The first point: fixed oil plate and cup most pad printing machine, especially large pad printing machine, generally use fixed oil plate and cup, the mechanical structure of this type of pad printing machine is relatively simple but very strong.Pad by sliding components driven in and out, due to the impact of the head sliding components, will inevitably produce pad vibration, thus limiting the printing speed of the body.

The second point: mobile oil pan and cup mobile oil pan and cup head only move up and down, there is no mechanical impact, the vibration of the head also reduced, therefore, most of the high speed pad printer are using mobile oil pan and cup.Printing process pad printing machine can be divided into Open ink tray system and Sealed ink cup system .

Open ink tray system

(1) when the pad head moves forward, the oil rod fills the pattern etch plate with ink.

(2) when the pad head moves back, the blade scrapes off the excess ink from the plate, leaving only the ink for the etched part of the pattern.

Sealed ink cup system

(1) when the oil cup is pushed forward, the ink inside the cup is sent to the etched position on the printing board, and the ink fills it.

(2) when the oil cup is returned, the ceramic ring of the oil cup will transfer the printing principle like a blade similar to intaglio printing. The tools include silicone pad printing head, patterned printing plate (steel or fiber) and printing ink, which can print all kinds of extremely fine lines, fonts and patterns, and even four-color screen images.Whether the surface of a print is concave, convex or irregular, it can still produce the desired effect. Printing a four-color logo on a golf ball, for example, is one of the advantages of a pad printer.Generally scrape away the excess ink thoroughly.
